Ladybug on a Flower :)

The same day I was sketching the other flower with a tiny frog, I decided I liked ladybugs and in fact, I miss them.
This is the first year I have not seen ooooooodles of them in my garden and I’ve very curious as to why, I haven’t changed anything – in fact we grow more than ever.
But this lady bug is a trooper, I recall reading once they dont’ see all that well so she may not see where her journey ends but she’s going there just the same.

For your eyes, look and see : The Insulting Chunkle!
He is rude and obnoxious and his insults aren’t very good but hey, he tries.
He likes to use enormous words when he insults people that he doesn’t really understand and he uses them incorrectly.
Sometimes though, The Insulting Chunkle is entertaining – sometimes.

      Black Hair and Green Eyes

Sometimes a feeling creates a person.
Like the other night, I had a great chat with an old friend and then had a great dinner with my partner Skinney and sat down to paint. I was feeling great and apparently feeling great is in the form of black hair and green eyes.
I have no idea who she is but I bet she’s nice 🙂

            Andrea Will Be Okay

This came from a story related to me by a friend.
He had not talked to her in a long time, hadn’t really even thought about her.
He moved on years and years ago.
And then a friend of hers came up and said, “Andrea will be okay”.
Like he’d been laying awake all night in bed worrying all this time….
So, just know, Andrea will be okay. 😀

Tiny Frog Balancing on a Flower :-)

I was sketching a bright flower and then I thought it should be bending down with a tiny frog on it -just balancing.
and here you go – it happened!
I like his little smile, like “I’ve got this!” and he’s not going to fall off.

                    Prayers for Humans

This has been making me giggle for 2 days.
I found this rancid children’s book in a pile of old books I bought called “Prayers and Hymns”. Maybe it was watching too much “Fido” or a love of zombies, but the cover of the book turned into zombie children praying, well what would zombies pray for?
Humans of course! They are delicious apparently!
So I redid the lettering to read, “Prayers for Humans” 😀

It’s drying right now but here are a few shots they are a little darker than the piece actually is:

Here’s a scan (it finally got dry enough)

This piece is currently up for auction on Ebay, I can promise it will go fast
