Several times in the last week, I’ve seen people passing this image of a blow-up, strap on unicorn horn for a cat. I don’t think I’d actually put one on our cats but it’s a pretty funny thought.

ACEO Card Set
I bumbled onto the Crime Library to read more about the Mountain Meadows Massacre and there was this other article I clicked on and it was the Top Ten Bestiality Cases. It was mugshots and a short synopsis of what these people did and I was just reading a couple thinking wow these are bad people and then I drew them and wrote my take on the synopsis on the back (basically an even shorter synopsis).

Good Morning and Hello!
Before these go up on Ebay (after we make tortillas today) I wanted to give you a little preview of the fun of ACEO cards. 🙂

► She Could only look down her nose at them – inspired by a real person I met who serious had her head back looking down at people at an event we were at, people of lesser means made her “uncomfortable”….
► Boss Pear runs the Fruit Bowl – inspired by a pear that got moldy and ruined other fruits in the bowl.
► Siamese Cat – because we love ’em.
► These boots are made for walkin’ (always loved that campy song).
► Really ugly doll – reminiscent of a doll someone made for me.

I detest people that only complain.
I don’t mind someone finding fault with a situation or way of doing things as long as they always have the goal of making it better.
Otherwise asshats that complain are putting their problems in my lap via my ears and basically expecting me or someone else to fix whatever is making them unhappy.
It’s really sad when it is the only talent someone has.

Have you ever known a liar, how about a really prolific one?
I have to realize I have been engaging conversations with someone that cannot go 10 minutes without another lie just flying out.
And he lies about really dumb stuff too like lying is just part of conversation with him.
Some people are scary.

I have a confession, I don’t like most children. I don’t find all children automatically amazing because they are kids.
I am however insanely crazy for my own kids and I do like a lot of children because individually they are awesome.
The last time I flew, I had the absolutely delightful experience of the brat from hell in the seat behind me and when he wasn’t screaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaming his Momma wouldn’t give him a toy or a snacky cake or a soda (yeah, this kid totally needed more sugar in his life), he was kicking the back of my seat. His long suffering mother kept reminding him Christmas was just around the corner and to be good.
Yeah that worked, thanks Mom.
I have never been so glad to deplane a flight in my LIFE.

For years I lived with an alcoholic.
If it is true alcoholics have a personal hell, so do the people on the other side of that bottle.
You’re trapped never able to have friends over, never able to attend a social function, never able to plan ANYTHING because the alcoholic in your life can wreck those plans in the time it takes to empty a pint of Jack.
First you lie to everyone about why you can’t do this or that, then you make deals with your Alcoholic and even throw down ultimatums and then you get real about it.
It was never anything you could control and you have realize you’re responsible for your own happiness and sometimes having happiness involves not having that person in your life if they aren’t interested in walking on a healthier road.
I’ve talked with a lot of people in relationships with alcoholics over the years and it’s amazing how similar all of our stories were with our experiences and challenges.
I can say, for myself, I found happiness. 🙂
