  • Russell’s Awesome Invention

Russell made a great invention. This marvelous machine would take your inner self and make your outside match your inside.
He tried it on his dog first, and the dog became even more beautiful.
He tried it on a mouse and the mouse became stunning.
Finally, he tried it on himself and he unfortunately had his face rearranged into a gigantic sphincter.
Then no one would fund his project. _____________________________________________________________

  • Sunday August 11th

Skinney and I are hoping it stays clear tonight and maybe we can see some meteors, I’ll post photos if we get any 🙂

I’ve been painting today – here’s what went up on Ebay.
I have been doing everything but re-doing the website of mine I need to be revamping – egads my writing site has cyber-cobwebs.

But let’s face it – painting is more fun!

  • Your Uncle Bee

I am a huge fan of honey bees. I don’t particularly like honey that much but I love bees for what they do.
If it was legal in Toledo, I’d keep bees but alas it is not.

You can thank a honey bee for your even being here and if you would, think of them as family members.
In fact, consider this your Uncle Bee. 😀

  • On August 3, 1901, Jebidiah Wrote the Funniest Joke EVER

I am absolutely loved this guy’s face. He’s got the tiniest little smirk, like he knows something you don’t and it’s REALLY funny. He really looked like he was just holding back from busting into laughter.
I imagine he was a pretty awesome fellow to know in walking life.

My thought was that he wrote the funniest joke EVER – and now we have to wonder what it is.

  • Stalker Moon

We were watching the movie “Arthur” and there’s this bit where the love interest of Arthur tells him when she was a little girl, she believed the moon followed her and it meant she was going to be something special.
It got me thinking – what if it wasn’t an optical illusion, what if the moon really was following you?
    How creepy would that be?

  • Red Ribbon Guy

I wanted to do something different with this guy.
He had the usual hair and the usual suit and the usual expression you see over and over and over in vintage photos (yes i know why people rarely smiled in these old photos ).
And so I wanted to make him special, unique even.
    Everyone deserves that.
So i started with some amazing blonde hair then it needed something…. a hat? No…. a RIBBON.
And here you have Stanley with his amazing hair with this amazing ribbon.
He will be the envy of all your other art on your walls.

  • Myrtle’s Donor Heart

I liked the look of this old girl.
I imagined that she was probably a good person. She looked like a type that knew right from wrong and expected everyone else to know it too and act accordingly. I can’t imagine anyone got out of line around her, but she didn’t come off hard either – just probably unbending.
Then I was talking about being an organ donor with a friend and we were debating pro’s and cons.
I thought about Myrtle on my art table in the basement, what if she got a heart from someone so completely good and awesome that the heart shone out of her chest with a light of a 1,000 suns.
What would Myrtle’s regular day be like, she’d have to have sunglasses on obviously and she’d probably expect everyone else to act like they didn’t notice – she wouldn’t want special treatment.

  • Zombie School Boy

There was something about this kid.
Maybe it was his sleepy, know-it-all eyes or maybe it was the fact I just really was fired up to paint a zombie today but this kid just screamed ZOMBIFY ME!
And everyone knows I always do what people ask (my partner just stroked when I typed that)
And so, I give you “Zombie School Boy”.

  • You Will Obey Me In a Pig’s Eye…. Improved Photo

Skinney and I were watching this television show where this woman was living a very submissive marriage role. I mean her husband had it made as far as he was concerned. She wasn’t even allowed to eat with him and the children at the table because women weren’t equal to men and the son’s repeated what their father thought. Just wow.
I imagined a different marriage where she was told she would obey and she rolled her eyes and kinda went pffffttttttttttt hahahahahaha in his face. 😀
