This is a fun little painting. I have been thinking of painting a really whacked out Ouija board for a while and I want to use different elements, this is one section of the board – the yes and no part
The twins are painted on a 3.5 x 5.5 inch vintage postcard. I used masking tape around the edges then painted over that – the entire piece is sealed under clear varnish.
I recently saw a video on YouTube, where I spend way too much time. The Cat with Hands is a short film directed by Robert Morgan. It was such a well-done short story – I got all inspired and painted my own imagined cat with hands.

This painting started off as just pink pineapples inspired by a very funny story I was told by a friend. Then it turned into a lady with pink pineapples… that are apparently levitating. I think it’s a fun little piece 😀
